Want to lift 2nd gen trd off-road 2-3". How long will the 5100 last or should I do the leveling kit? I would like the ride quality to be similar to oem.

Leveling kit will give you a rougher ride in most cases. The 5100s with an add-a-leaf in the rear are the better route

If you want it to ride okay go 5100 set at zero and some OME springs.
