Bilstien 5100

    So I know there are plenty of thread out there but nothing that really answered my question..

    I just recently got a 2001 4dr
    V6 4wd..it came with a spacer lift In the front only which the spacer is about 1inch thick. I want to remove the spacer and put it close to what the height is now.

    I bought the Bilstein 5100 part number
    $144 24-249928 Bilstein 24249928 Shock Absorber
    24-249928 which has 4 setting clips. Does anyone have pictures of it on your truck at the 3rd setting up? And 4th setting?
    Manual says 3rd setting 1.33 and 4th 2 inch…again I’m trying to keep it the same height as it is now since it looks pretty level.

    I’ve never run spacers but from what I’ve read a one inch spacer gives approximately 2 inches of lift give or take. So if ya got 1 inch spacers now I’d set the 5100’s at the 2 inch lift notch. I have the 3 notch 5100’s set on the middle notch, gave my truck an CC00E5E5-7C86-409E-A786-E94327B735D2.jpg 1 1/4 or so in front. Pic is my truck with middle notch 5100’s and wheelers 3 leaf aal with no factory overload.

    Nice looking truck by the way.

    That looks like more that 2" of lift. What size are the tires?

    Measure the distance from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender flair.
