Breaking Bad

Show is intense, well written and even caused me to take a sick day to get in more episodes once I started watching.

 

We have been working thru some old shows with our kids, 3rd rock is one we all enjoy.

 

Included, great show but no 3rd rock. Son would stop and say message from big giant head and say done crap that had nothing to do with current conversation, then walk away with out saying anything smirking.

 

I really liked the 1st couple seasons but it lost steam quick after some of those events. I think I've watched all but the most recent season due to lack of showtime. Good show, not great

I totally agree. 1st season probably the best 1st season of any show I've ever seen. Then sorta ran otta steam.

I would agree for a while, feel like it dragged near the end of the series, and the ending was junk.

Dragging at the end? Maybe. I watched it originally as it aired but I've been re-watching the series (DVR) over the past few weeks. Tara dead... Bobby dead...Jema dead...Juice dead....Unser dead.
All in the matter of 10 or so episodes. I wouldn't call that dragging by any means. I will agree on the ending. I'm down to that episode ( again) this weekend.

I'm gonna toss Red Oaks out there. I found it on Amazon Prime. It's a great show for anyone who spend their younger years in the 80's.

There's a pretty spot on NY Times review of it... Caddyshack meets Fast Times at Ridgemont High. It takes a couple of episodes to kick into gear, but really kinda draws you in after that.

 

Once I get the zoo settled in, I may kick back and watch some.

I just rember being all into it, then there were a season or so, where it just didn't do it for me. Didn't feel it was binge worthy.
