I'm so pissed off about this. Some mutant bird must have poop on my roof with out me knowing till I went to wash my truck yesterday. Using some heavy duty bug and tar remover got most of it off but it left a brownish-yellowish stain on my roof. Going through the list I've tried clay-bar, rubbing compound, vinegar and water, more bug and tar remover, scratch-x 2.0, and using everything from buffing pads to rotary polisher and nothing got it off. Does anyone have any other ideas to get this shit off my car for good.

I found that a clay bar works wonders, if you haven't tried that yet.

Not really related, but my truck had acid rain water spot stains on the roof from the time it sat on the dealer's lot. I tried many different things to get the stains off including regular wax and clay bar but surprisingly even the clay bar didn't work. Took it to the dealer they told me that the clear coat on the roof needs to be removed and re-applied . So maybe your bird crap stain needs to be removed in that way also. It's bs how weak the clear coat on our trucks are

You need a heavier polish. ScratchX is very mild. Order up some Meguiar's M105 and M205. Get them from autodetailingsolutions.com and get trial size.
