    What camera you use? Your shots a pretty good! I see people with $10,000 plus setups that don't get pictures like some of these...

    See them dead on the side of the highway here in NM. Do a 500 miles roundtrip once a month and almost always see at least 2. Most I have counted was 7 - but that was after fledging so all the juvies were probably getting hit

    Thank you. All my pictures thus far on here are with believe it or not a $200 Nikon Coolpix 9600 pocket camera.

    I like the ease of use and portability of a tiny camera while I'm kayaking or cycling. I think I've been fortunate to have been in the right place and time to capture some cool shots. After a few years my beloved 9600 has started to crap out on me. I bought a Nikon 9900 to replace it but the quality of pictures was worse and it has focusing issues plus the wifi button was poorly placed so that you always accidentally push it while shooting. I returned it for a Sony HX90V (Zeiss lens) . The Sony is not nearly as user friendly and kind of fiddly to set up but the shots look a bit crisper. Hopefully I'll get out soon for some new updated photos.

    Those flicker shots are spectacular!

    On my most recent trip we camped at the top of a cliff and had a golden eagle fly out from under us, which was pretty awesome. I'll get the photo up sometime once I go through them all...

    I've got one that sits on the power line pole behind my house and sings ALL NIGHT LONG!! Sometimes I'll go out and sit on the patio and listen him for quite a while.
