I think we are looking at this situation differently.

 

lol I actually voted for the 27th, forgot I had a ride that weekend.

 

how do you know who did/didn't vote, can you see that?

yeah polls just don't provide the most accurate data to me sometimes, but it's what we've got.

folks like @BAMATOY not voting then saying "well can't do that weekend" and @JBTacoma voting for one date to make it the majority but not actually being able to go that date are the problem lol

 

I didn't vote either, as I'm a maybe until the day comes really. I simply know Easter won't be a doable weekend.

 

There is no multi vote option therefore that's why I didn't vote. Stating I can prolly do any of the other 3 options meant I was basically voting for ALL 3 of those and voting against the 2 dates I stated. I am not sure where the disconnect is here....

 

that's what I'm saying. the 27th was chosen based on the poll vote, whereas probably more than can make the other dates, but didn't vote because of no multi option. I didn't mean YOU specifically were the issue lol just that your situation was.

but there are more like you I'm sure. heck I didn't vote and it may come to the point where I say "nope can't make that" but if I didn't vote then what good does that do lol

 

biking is the main reason (ok almost the only reason) that I'm going lol

 

exactly. somebody gets it! lol. we did the huge oak mountain meet whenever it was a year ago or so just so everyone could meet and it was a huge turnout, but frankly driving all the way down there to shake some hands and eat at a mediocre restaurant wasn't the best way to spend a day lol. love meeting and hanging out with folks but you can do that while doing other fun and/or productive stuff too.

 

Need to do a wheeling trip, everyone can meet and have something to do.

 

not everyone can/wants to wheel though. some of our members are just here because they enjoy their truck and just like hanging out. sometimes you gotta have parking lot meets, or other activity events. like the bbq thing you went to in the carolinas.

can't always be wheeling.
