i just looked at buying a set of these.. .wtf is up with shipping? seems a little steep to ship to iowa.

How about a flat rate box for $7?

Taco tabs only give you 3. So there's a bit of compromise, but a solution to oem cams that bust out the minute you hit dirt and get unaligned anyway is good. At least you can be consistent...

Hi guys,

I want to get the word out on a new product that I offer, but do it in a way that will help TacomaWorld as well. I ran this by staff and they gave the OK...

The problem--anyone who puts on larger wheels and tires on their truck is bound to take it off-road. Rocky terrain along with more force from larger wheels and tires tends to overwhelm the stock alignment cams, which can knock your alignment out. A great weekend can have an annoying end when you need to set up an alignment appointment.

The fix--Bison Offroad Stop Cams. These are suspension alignment cams that are shaped like a stop sign, not an egg. The flat sides do a much better job of staying in place, and the 10.9 rated hardware can take the torque needed to keep the cams in place.

The solution--I'd like to send out a kit or two for free, as long as you can meet these requirements:

a) You can install the Stop Cams and take pictures within 2-3 weeks
b) Include feedback on the install. This is key, as we change these out on a 2-post lift, and it's easy. I'd like to get feedback from someone who installs it in his garage.

c) Instructions--if your truck is aligned, mark exactly where the bolt sits and remove the stock eccentric kit. Situate the Stop Cams to match where the bolt was located. Install bolt through the Stop Cams and tighten to factory specs. Send feedback.

That's it. If I was more creative I'd have a better contest, but for now the contest is:

Add a picture of your truck to this thread. I'll pick a truck or two at random and contact you for your address on Thursday, September 3rd. That's it.

The round OEM cams allow it to creep out of spec that shouldn’t happen with flat sides. Infinite adjustability sounds cool but isn’t really needed.

Hey, I'm just curious, aftermarket cams usually have a d-shaped notch to keep each other clocked properly but that's been proven to be crap as they wallow out and become useless. The stock Toyota ones use a deep pentagonal keying that doesn't wallow out. What type of keying do yours use?

That's correct. The trade-off for a stronger part is the loss of "infinite" adjustments. However, there's enough adjustment--and a tiny bit of slop--to allow for a proper camber setting.

Very very interested in these cams, I have a lifetime alignment package & use it after every. Single. Trip. With 34s, Kings & ~6" of lift I tend to hit the rough stuff pretty hard & the stock hardware doesn't even put up a fight.
