well just got back from signing to buy a new 2010 Taco Access cab 4x2 SR5......oh boy....went with the Magnetic Grey Metallic BUT i can choose the white or silver IF i change my mind when i get the truck and finance it, IF they have them in stock. have to see the color in daylight, i got there as the sun was going down and test drove THAT same truck. 26 miles on her. I cant beleive how nice it rides, how peppy it is too...tachs out low on the highway @55....i likey....$20,500 with mats, sills and spare lock and a few compted services. They wanted 21,700 @ 5.9%....hahahaha got them down to 2.9% 60 months and 20,500. invoice per Edmunds was just a hair over 20k with the add ons. not bad, salesman have to make money too. i pick her up next Thursday as i dont need it here yet and i have to sell my one pickup and get the insurance coverage too. the truck is nice, i never knew how nice it rode or the LEG room....OMG, i had the seat all the way back and i had to move it forward 4 or 5 clicks to be comfortable. I'm 6' tall, size 12 boot and 230 lbs. it feels so nice compared to anything i currently drive or even my 06 GMC Canyon i had (POS that it was) wasnt this nice.....and the back seats are not bad, no that im going to riding back there but my 6 year old will and its roomy. Any suggestions for a new truck? oil change around 1500??? its what i normally do. Im going to run synthetic as i do in my wifes Lancer and it runs MINT with 60k and doesnt burn a drop of oil after 4k mile oil changes. Any preference for oil? im thinking Mobil 1.
well wish me luck, pics when i get her

5 lugger. they said i could even change my choice of color (they have white and silver) up to the day i do the financing....they were ALITTLE pushy, but they wanted 300 under sticker at first and 5.9%. i played their game, but i let them have alittle $$$ considering its 2010 and its pretty much a "left over" and 2wd in winter....i told them, good luck selling a 2wd in winter with TWO storms heading this way this week...hahaha i got a 4x4 Isuzu ill drive until it dies and building a new Spacecab 4x4 so thats why i didnt opt for a prerunner or 4wd. the cost for the 4wd (5k) i can build and drive my spacecab for about 3 years free :) i cant wait till next friday (or sooner if i want) to get her...i think ill be happy with the grey, just want to do the grille insert mod and black headlight conversion (might get ebay ones or spare OEMs to practice on) and a used grill to color match and do the insert mod. Family owns a body shop so the Sport hood is going on also once i get into some payments first. RIms and tires of course (17 or 18s) and a mild 2" drop....but thats all later. think a MGM access cab dropped 2" with the mods will be clean and DIFFERENT and now i have something i can drive for 100k and not worry about....hell even 200k since i will know 100% of its history :)
thanks everyone. ill post pics when i get her
