love my iphone for all the apps, as well as being my ipod. I hook it up to my Alpine stereo in my truck and its awesome for that. However, AT&T sucks imo, Verizon FTW!

iPhone. Not only is there an "app for that", but it also has the capacity to serve as my MyFi, allowing me to connect and surf up to 12 laptops at the same time on my unlimited data plan while at the same time allowing me to place and receive calls from my iPhone while at the same time allowing me to monitor all my systems through my KIWI wireless OBD port.

x2 - taking the hit now on app availability but hoping there will be a flood of open source in the near future. Plus, AT&T is no longer an option for me.

I've had 3 Blackberrys for work... a 7520, a 8330 and 8703e. Had stability problems with all three - constant reboots while I'm reading mail or switch applications, horrid battery life and a PITA OS that hides simple things like putting a custom alert for calls/emails from specific users.

All three of these were issued to me by work, and I work for Verizon! They sucked and I will not buy a BB for my personal use after repeated problems.

Was this because Verizon locks the crap out of a device?
They have the best network... but restrict the device too much.

I have not had any issues with my BB.

Not sure about droid yet. Have a htc windows device on verizon. It has had many hacks done to it along with droid put on it. droid was not very stable. the touch screen was not able to calibrate. this is why linux will not be main stream (to many people with hands in the pot). Putting out buggy beta code.

Being a work phone all of them have been pretty bare-bones.. I've added Google Maps and a couple of shortcuts for the Weather Channel, etc. It says a lot when I'm so practiced at pulling the battery for a forced reboot that I can do it in less than 3 seconds.

Don't know anything about the BB, my iPhone rocks. Just what you would expect from Apple.

    I've had a BB and it's great for phone/email.

However, the iPhone is the most amazing device I've owned! I'm using the 3g and it it runs all my apps no problem. However, my wifes 3gs is quicker for web browsing.

I use apple's Me service so everything I do is automatically synced between my iPhone, MacBook Pro and iMac. When I add an appointment on my iPhone, it auto adds to my calendar on my other computers. Even when I add a new web bookmark or delete one it syncs with my computers and iPhone.

    Really convenient.

    Cheers!
