black box mod

    So with the readylift kit and removing the black box can I run 265/75R16 or 31x10.5 tires?

    Yup, aftermarket rims with proper backspacing eliminate any rubbing issues for the front fully turned.

    i literally freaked out for like an hour thinking i needed to drop some money to do a cab or body mount chop until i saw the bolts on this dumb black box thing in order to fit the 31s i just got put on. This post saved me!

    Maybe Toyota installed the black box specifically so that tires which would overload / excessively wear the front suspension could not be installed?

    I just walked outside and took that off after seein this thread!! I need to know why tf that’s there???
