black chrome grille bumper idea

    Has anybody tried to paint their chrome grille and bumper with transparent black paint. I just wonder if it would stick without sanding

    Yes
    I've experimented with VHT on an emblem. Looks good but won't hold up unless you clear coat over it. Even then I'm not sure it would last long.
