they are doing it wrong then...if you preheat to 325, turn oven off, press headlight together and then let headlights sit in there for 10 min and then press together again when they come out, you CANNOT mess this up!! i've done several lights on various toyota vehicles, have never had a problem! toyota uses good sealant.

...i call operator error on the messed up ones!

well, if yours are leaking, then i would take the time to take them apart, clean and then put back together.

*****disclaimer - the following only works on OEM lights, those egay ones use crappy glue so it really doesnt matter what you do, they will leak! *********

follow my previous posted instructions. when putting back together, i preheat the oven and turn off. i then take the housing and lens and push together, then place in turned off oven. i then pull out after 10 min and push together as much as i can. the warmed up sealant will seal up great and you will no longer have any problems...

Feel like I have to respond because of flaming of these supposedly worthless lights. I did the BHLM and 1 light fogged and the other did not. I sealed with silicone and electrical tape along with reheating and pushing them back together. Besides just chalking it up to operator error sometimes after tearing the light open the seal just won't be the same. I bought the ebay lights, and while I agree that they are of less quality than the OEM lights they have worked perfectly fine. I did have to adjust the lights when I got them but they function just as well as my original lights did. I had an 05 and my lenses were pretty beat up so I decided to pick up some cheaper replacements after the BHLM went south. In the end you get what you pay for. And yes, amber side markers are required in most states but I dont think you will get pulled over for these lights. Maybe a fix it ticket after you get pulled over for something else.

did you put silicone on before you reaheated? if you reheat and push together as i have stated, there is no way you could mess this up! in the favorite words of my co-worker..."your doing it wrong..."

also, everyone is aware that the headlight is not a completely closed system right?! there are two breathers in the back of the lights that are open to the atmosphere....

i'm sure for some it works but its the percentange that matters. If 3 out of 5 owners of these lights have problems fogging or alligning than its not worth taking the chance imho.

Spent near $100 gettting all the stuff to do the BHLM and tint the rears properly.
