Anybody installed one on a 2013 yet? There's another thread where the topic of cutting the old grill came up. Just trying to understand Rigid's claim of "no cutting" on their website with what I think has to happen.

Someone has to have done this to a 2013. I just want to know how much cutting there was.

If anyone wants to try and put one of my lights behind one of these, email me and we can talk. :) I have no idea what the mounting on the back of this looks like but I can provide info on the lights.

I installed mine on my 2012 which is the same as the 2013 last week. Anyhow, you essentially have to cut out the entire center section of the grill. If you leave a 1/4 inch remaining of the factory black center section you'll be good to go. The Rigid grille sits flush against the painted or chrome grille surround so you will not even see the 1/4 lip that you left. That said, the Rigid grill uses 4 new screws, two on the top and two at the bottom. Really it's a very simple and quick install. If you have any specific questions or would like pictures of what I cut out just let me know..

Don't let the cutting deter you from getting this grille. Cutting is the best way to get a clean install without seeing the original grill behind, which looks tacky and cheap in my opinion..

For the price, I'd expect the grill to be in the plastic surrounding.

Yes, that's what you told me on the other thread. Pics?

Is Rigid the best LED light? I'm new to LED's. I had some PIAA's on my Tundra and I miss them. I had them tied into the brights.

Rigid is a top quality LED light, made in the USA and with a lifetime warranty. They are literally bulletproof and have a much better internal design then anything coming from overseas. Another top brand of LED bars is Baja Designs.

Looks outstanding. I've had my truck over 6 months now and I still haven't installed LED's. I still think this grill is the best looking one out there, but paying my kid's college tuition took precedent over lights.

Looks great!!!! Few questions for you if ya don't mind...
How well does the grill light work?
Do you think it is worth the price?
    Any night pictures available?
