Finally got the rear springs on and have it driving now. There is surprisingly little rub with the 255's

With a little work you can fit a 255 under the bottom in the stock spare tire location. It does rub on the exhaust hanger on one side. I will need to drop it down and bend that hanger out of the way eventually.

Another thought. I have no way to jack up the front end if I have a flat right now. =[ Guess I'll have to carry the aluminum floor jack on vacation. =/

Carry a couple of blocks of wood, I used to keep 4 short 2x6's to jack up the truck before I got a hilift.

Great looking build by the way!

This is how much I had to trim to get no rubbing except at full stuff and locked. But even then it is monimal and I was able to keep the mud flaps.

Here is an Idea I got from Barlows build for a GPS mount for my 62. I love navigating with that little guy.

I didn't show how it mounts very good but barlow or someone did a write up on it.

Here is a picture from the Smoky Mountain National Park. Oh yeah I pulled up to get the camper for the trip from my buddy that painted it and it was in the paint booth with a space heater on it, lol. He had literally just got it painted earlier that morning.

Here is a really cool picture I took as I was driving with my Rebel held out the window. Couldn't reproduce it if I tried.
