    Not sure if the stock lugs will work with it. My wheels came with lugs so I had no issue.

    Mine came with new lugs (in a triangular box). I didn't use them....the stock lugs worked for me.

    I put the real ones on about a month ago. Expensive and took forever to find but love them.

    I took off a set off OEM steel 16" wheels and they have a completely different style lug than the ones that came with my new TRD FJ wheels. The steel wheels use a conical 60 deg seat lug. The TRD FJ wheels use a flat washer style lug. The size of the threads are the same, but two radically different style lugs between the wheels.

    Yes they do work only if he had alloys before. If you use the conical on trd wheels you risk splitting the wheel at the contact point. There is nothing to center the wheels given they are lug centric. I can imagine it would cause wheels to vibrate like hell.

    You can see why concial would cause issues by looking at how the shank lungs work
