I guess it depends on browser, because it seemed pretty "in your face" on PC.

I paid using PayPal and as soon as I entered the PayPal option my order was completed. I didn’t see anything saying enter coupon code as I went in and out of the payment option just to make sure I didn’t miss that step.. I guess I missed that step is there anyway to still apply the coupon.

Thats exactly what I did for my Taco, including an audio cable, of course I dont have carplay but it is still useful to have the USB and audio coming up through the DMM instead of just hanging in front looking nasty.

Yeah I'm working on better descriptions but yes that's exactly all you need, trhe slim grip is Arkon's name for that holder and yes that holder will open to 7" tall which is more than enough to hold any phone or a small tablet. If you buy that kit you will have the DMM, ball arm and holder you won't need anything else until you decide you want something else mounted.

No problem, what's your order number? we'll take care of that.

Talk about timing, just placed the order for only the DMM like 5 minutes ago. No worries, at least I have the main DMM coming, I'll worry about mounting the phone later, it'll let me decide on which mount I plan to go with anyways.

No worries about the descriptions, I understand it can be hard to have everything match up across a website. Keep it up mate, great products, great service! Can't wait to see what else you come up with down the road.

    Thanks for that!
If you change your mind today let me know we can still change the order before it ships (tomorrow)

Thanks for this info, I didn't realize the power outlet was on a keyed circuit. I assumed it was a constant hot like an old cigarette lighter plug. I considered popping the factory USB/audio plug out of the dash and using it but the owners manual for my 2019 said that was only a data plug.

Worrying about leaving a iPhone/iPad plugged in may not really be a issue for draining the battery but I worry about stuff like that or any parasitic draw on the starting battery. I've been left with dead batteries in work vehicles form flashlights and stuff that was left plugged in to power outlets.

Yeah. The power ports being always on or not can be frustrating. I did enjoy it in our cars that had constant, non-keyed power which is why I did it on the Taco.

The stock USB input has some charging current, only 0.5A, mainly to power a thumb drive media input. Some folks have said that it will charge their phones. For me, Waze is usually up, so full 2.1A charging is needed.

I get you. Larger parasitic draws, esp on newer vehicles like the Taco that have a lot of parasitic draw to start with, will kill a battery. I don't charge stuff often. Maybe once a month or less. It is freaking convenient when I need it though.

I used to have a contantly powered outlet on my last taco, even if you dont have a phone or other device charging the little voltage converters inside the power outlets and even some cables themselves have circuitry in them that draws power, it can drain the battery after a while, it happened to me....

Good point. I was a bit nervy about the MCTuning dual outlet that I do have on non-keyed power because there are lights that stay on. Even a week not started, I've been good. We did struggle in the past when I was riding too much.

I do rock a jump pack. Just too convenient for many things.

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but what are these things attached to the RAM mounts, posted on page 1?

I was going to snag this but I don't have any option for a discount code. Tried 2 different browsers on my laptop and I even tried my phone. Nothing is giving that option.

That's what I was thinking too. I've never seen magnet mounts with a RAM attachment, a quick look on Amazon didn't show anything, and I don't see anything for it on the RAM homepage.

By the way, I got my DMM earlier this week and installed it this morning. I couldn't find any instructions, but it's pretty obvious how it goes together, and there are multiple youtube videos if you run into any snags.

Really sturdy product. Way overkill for what I'll be doing most of the time (commuting to work) but it'll be great for the washboards. I'm using the same X-Grip that held a phone securely on my motorcyles at 95 off road, so I have no doubts it'll be plenty sturdy enough for the Tacoma.

    Sorry about that!
The old codes didn’t transfer to the new site but I’m fixing that right now.
