Black Friday code thread

Your going to have to get there a hell of a lot earlier than 3 a.m. for a 5 a.m. opening. better think more like 10 p.m. or earlier at the latest 11 or 12 and you *might* have a chance at it. The line at Best Buy here is across the front, down the side, and at or past the back corner of the building by 3 a.m.

I went in hhgreg last year for a 60" TV for $699 at 1 a.m. for a 5 a.m. opening and found out when i got in the store it was a projection tv and only 720p. Went to the TV dept and they had a 60" plasma full HD for $999 and didn't have to fight a bunch of idiots for it either. Score! Sometimes the regular sale is better than the door buster.

 

Calm down! Some people post a lot from their phones and those drop down menus can be a pain.

 

best buy opens at midnight and they are handing out vouchers for the hot ticket items at 10pm, on the 25th...so if you plan on going at 3am you might as well stay home bc everything will already be gone. unless you mean 3am the morning of thanksgiving.

 

I was in Best Buy today. The salesman said that if you buy something that will be part of the black friday sale, you can come in after the madness in a couple of days and they will honor the discount. Said to get the paper tomorrow for the sales list and come on in to avoid the rush.

 

But the model numbers are never the same on the tv's and stuff. I bought one last year from best buy on BF and never was able the match the model number to any other tv.

This year I can see why this tv is $199. It's garbage according to the reviews. Best buy wants them out of the warehouse.
