    Just ordered ditch lights I've been wanting for a long time! Started the order on my laptop and got to the Paypal info when dear ol' lappy shut down. Ugh. So desktop computer to the rescue. Hoping the lights will fit without scraping with my Spiker hood struts set at a high angle since I'm not sure if the lights rotate when the hood opens or if they are stationary (never seen any in real life.) Guess if they don't work I can always sell them for what I paid...

    Just saw the order, and just saw your message on our chat and was getting to those now.

    I'll answer your hood strut question here though! The ditch brackets remain in a fixed position affixed to the hood as you open and close it. With the high clearance struts my guess is that you MAY get some binding between the wiring harness and the windshield when you open the hood. However, there's an easy fix... Just unplug the wiring harness from the back of the C2s when you open the hood! Most of us don't open our hoods all that much so I'm hoping that little extra step doesn't ruin the entire experience!

    Appreciate the reply. Perhaps I can set the lights forward just a tad more and the cord hitting the windshield isn't a real big deal, just thinking about dealer service and others opening the hood. I won't be using them very often, mostly wanted more "front" light for camping and driving up in the PNW mountains--gets really dark up there!

    These will absolutely help with the darkness issue! You can certainly fiddle with them to suit your use case! I can't say for sure that the binding will be a problem, but the fix is easy, and if they do bind the most likely outcome will be that the lights will slip out of alignment in the universal brackets and will require re-aiming.
