Talked to general today and they stated they have not made the tire in the last 3 months and that they are not likely to make them for the next two months ahead due to demand.

This info above is specifically for tire size 255/70/17.

Other sizes are still being made and it has not been discontinued just is a supply and demand scenario.

I want that size since the tire is only 39 pounds a 1/2" narrower and a 1/2" taller.

The 265/70/17 size most for go for jumps up to 44 pounds.

Looks like I have to pick another brand. Back to looking up tire info

From the research I've done, it looks like that General Grabber A/T is a UK tire model only. There are no plans that I am aware of at this time to phase out the AT2 here in the U.S.

@lj973gm - look into the 255/70-17 Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10. This model only weighs 37lbs in this size and does well in all conditions.

Thanks a bunch for doing some digging for the info on the tires.

I actually started looking into the hankooks yesterday and contacted them about weight since it is not listed anywhere and they stated 37 pounds as well for the 255/70/17 and I believe 38 for the 265/70/17.

Surprised to see the weight on the Hankook to be so light and be a AT tire.

That is likely what I will choose it gets really good reviews on here except for some people mentioning it is not all the great in the rain.

The reviews on the Hankook ATM are generally all positive even for HD truck owners. This tire really does get the job done in any conditions.

I called back in today and ordered them up. For 255/70/17 there are limited choices, can't be really picky since some companies don't even make that size.

I think they will fit the bill. Just

    Thanks again

Will you beat onlinetires price on the 255/85/16 KM2? They are $852 shipped on onlinetires and $892 on DTD. I'm looking to buy this upcoming week. Thanks

You placed your order early enough that it should ship out today meaning you will see tracking numbers later on this afternoon.
