Black Friday TV deals are worth it if you know what you are doing and not going for those one-off model number "Doorbusters" sets. In my personal scenario I've researched extensively and my particular set isn't a bargain basement TV deal. Samsung and LG both are running special "black friday" deal pricing already , and you can get the same price whether you purchase at Best Buy, Costco, Walmart, etc.

Black Friday isn't just one day anymore.

There's a lot of truth to what is posted above in regards to the Doorbuster models, I mean if you pay $499 for a 75" TV you can't have very high expectations. Do your research and utilize sites such as RTINGS.com

I decided on Best Buy with free delivery tomorrow, saved me the hassle of transporting on the way home tonight.

I was moving 45 mins away, and transporting my tv. I kept the box. It was a 65 inch box I made this ghetto stand in 15 mins wrapped the box in a moving blanket so the arms wouldn’t smack against the tv. The strapped it down. The tv has to be on a diagonal to fit in the bed. But it worked

I personally will never buy another Samsung tv. I bought my 1st Samsung 65 that was middle of the line I guess and a few months in the picture was having issues. It took a month if not 2 from first email to replacement. Then just before the warranty was up (from the original tv) the picture was having different issues. Again took 1-2 months for the replacement. So far on the 3rd I haven’t had problems but warranty is up and it’s been less than 6 months so time will tell.

Their customer service is a joke and quality isn’t what I thought it would be

bit excessive. i put mine in the bed and used my handy dandy ratchet straps to hold it. ratchet straps are the bee's knee. every truck owner should keep a set in their truck.

Yeahhh I had ratchet straps on it, but didn't want to risk it tipping. Plus it got me away from the Gf for a while

i've banned samsung from my cart after their galaxy tab 2 update. they pushed out an update that wouldn't allow you to turn off the tablet. then they pushed out an update that wouldn't update because the tablet needed to shut off. customer service was useless. the samsung store was useless. finally found the answer on the web. sadly i had just bought a samsung tv.. but it has worked well.

Can’t be the only one who requires more pics for better comparisons.

Probably a good thing. Next they’ll be wanting specs and to see the internals.
