Black Headlight Mod request

Hello TW!

I was wondering if there was a thread or somewhere I can request someone to complete the BHLM mod for me?

I don’t need the retrofits or anything, just looking to black out my headlights. I know I can do it myself and i’ve read countless instructions and forums on how to do so, but I rather much pay someone who can do a much better job.

I’m located in LA county, but willing to drive to any nearby counties (OC/IE/Venture). I’ll pay for the time, cost of materials, and bring a case of your favorite beer of course!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You will need replacement lights while the are getting done if you way to drive . I did my own and my truck was parked for two days for the paint to dry. Weekend project for me.

 

I’m hoping for a core charge scenario myself. @mesojdm is up North but not sure what exactly he does.

You can contact @motorsport36 , he's based in Arizona but you can arrange for your BHLM since he has a lot of SoCal customers. As a matter of fact he's coming down to Anaheim next week for some local deliveries including my set. Enclosed are photos he sent of my BHLM, can't wait to get it

Let us know how the highs look at night with blacked out reflector bowls. I may do the same and link my highbeams to the lightbar behind my grill making the actual highs output irrelevant.

 

Another recommendation for @no vtec 4me he did mine and they came out great, he also swaps for your original lights to keep the costs down, its the most inexpensive quality route to BHLM I've seen, here's mine:

2 days for the paint to dry?????? Explain that please...Mine took like 30 min...They came out perfect

 

How much does this guy charge?

 

Day one take off lights, bake open, prep paint drink beer as it starts to dry let it cure over night. Day two assemble bake closed install. You happy now speed painter.

 

Check with him but I think its $300 plus you ship him your old ones (he sends you the BHLM set first so there's no downtime on your end)

 

Whatever zippy the turtle...I have a life outside of watching paint dry ..
