Black Headlight Service

I am now able to take more orders for Black Headlights. I have done over 7 sets now so I pretty much know what to do where I stand.

You guys probably know the reason why I'm doing all of this(If you don't, look under my member name). Everyone that buys my products has their own little piece in my LT kit

NOTE: The clear reflectors and blinker lenses are looking to be sourced out. Once I find the source I will begin producing BHL with clear lenses. I am sorry for the delay. I will search as fast and as much as I can to get the best for everyone.

Prices & Fees:

• Standard rate is $85, not including shipping.
• If you wish to have the headlights color matched to your truck, I can do so. Just give me the name of the color of your truck with your name, full address, and phone number. $10 for a color matched set (1) 11 oz. can is $24.95
• NEW!!!!!! Since the clear lens can't be sourced out, I have decided to do a lens DELETE. Meaning take out the lenses all together and I can make the blinker still be chrome to give it the reflection it needs to work.
• If you want your Blinker lenses and reflectors tinted (given that its legal with your state), I can do that. I use VHT Niteshade. And It will have a clear coat on the niteshade to keep it from fading. $5/set

I will ask, however, that for this service to keep going and for other members who are interested to have Black Headlights, For you to:

• Take out your current bulbs.
• Ship back to me your current headlights in the already given box when you recieve your freshly done BHL.

Turn around time is about 2 days to 3-4 days (depending on if I finish on a Sunday or Holiday). Its very short But I let everything cure right.

So if I were to do this, I would be giving you my head lights in exchange for a pair of stock headlights that have the BHLM?

 

Yes. Your keep your light bulbs though.

Once I ship the BHL and you have recieved them and have installed them, you then may package up your current stock HL to send to me so that I can work on the next order.

Great idea. Any warranty on lens fogging?

 

I usually know when the Headlights are going to fog. But as a precaution, now that I'm doing this on a bigger scale, I will seal it up with bathroom silicone sealant or what ever is readily available.

And this will be, most likely, the last time the headlights will be opened.

 

Very good idea, I would also be interested in a fogging warranty, and also in the pics it looks like gloss paint, could I request matte black paint if I order a set. Thanx

 

Just to throw it out there, Out of the 7 sets I have done, Only one single headlight has fogged. And that was my drivers side HL.

A little bathroom sealant cured that little problem


And further ask your question, how matte black do you want it to be?

so i'm interested in this as well. so it's like a core charge setup for the headlights (you make me, send em, i sent the oem ones to you after recieving the new ones)? Also how much to color match and only make the turn signal reflectors clear instead of that pale yellow lol....i don't have a lot of time to do the mod so it's kool that someone is willing to do it....

 

you should charge more for the service and refund the difference when the customer sends back his/her headlights, that way its semi-insurance to protect yourself from someone ripping you off

 

Yes, you got the idea.

$10 to split the cost of the color match paint and however much the clear lense kits are. So what your saying is that you would like to have the blinker lense clear and keep the reflectors on the side the orange color? I can do that. I am completely customizable. Anything you request I can make happen.
