Black Hole Discussion Thread

I don’t think there’s been another thread made about this, but this is the black hole theory and discussion thread. This is a place to debate each other and point out flaws in theories about black holes. This discussion can have anything related to black holes in it. Can have theories, facts, observations, sightings, anything. Really as long as it’s interesting any topic can be built in here, could even be about Einstein’s special theory of relativity or subatomic particles. Whatever, this thread is for scientific fun.

A black hole is a region of spacetime exhibiting such strong gravitational effects that nothing—not even particles and electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from inside it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole.

It's not like we're sharing opinions on how many dungholes (if any at all) the lifeforms in the HR-203 galaxy have.
