I stopped at season three. I got bored. Currently up to date on flash and supergirl though

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2017 was divided, one half awarded to Rainer Weiss, the other half jointly to Barry C. Barish and Kip S. Thorne "for decisive contributions to the LIGO detector and the observation of gravitational waves".

    Check it out....

Was reading an article about this year's Nobel prize winners, and the physics prize scientists were awarded based on involvement in this project, fwiw, thought someone might find it interesting.

LIGO and Virgo observatories detect gravitational wave signals from black hole collision

In August, detectors on two continents recorded gravitational wave signals from a pair of black holes colliding. This discovery, announced today, is the first observation of gravitational waves by three different detectors, marking a new era of greater insights and improved localization of cosmic events now available through globally networked gravitational-wave observatories.

Why would you care? You don't have to hang out if you don't want to. I'm no scientist, I'm just not a monkey-see/ monkey-do person, I enjoy discussion, Devil's advocate and skepticism. NASA is full of smart people. But Academia has a bias problem everyone knows about, and then there is this. And even in those few paragraphs on that official page, NASA uses all sorts of language to note that there is much to study.

I think you missed a little bit of context, which you wouldn't have seen just from in here.

I'll be the first one to chat academics.

Im simply saying that one person cant chat, so one person cannot be ther first to chat since it takes a minimum of two people... Unless you have a convo with yourself

    HEY-HEY!

I was actually about to bring up gravitational waves!

For instance photons are massless but still have direction, what force enacts on them? Gravity would mean nothing to them as they have no mass to be pulled, so waves! Light is a solar surfer! Waves of dark matter carry the photons.

I really wish I had a more indepth understanding of physics, and am here to learn so please correct and debate with me as fit.

I don't belive einsteinian physics is the whole puzzle, how can it be? It only takes into consideration the know universe at that time and how observable physics react when observed from our world. Besides Einstein himself said he was a fool compaired to Tesla. Now Tesla, that demi-god is my hero.

Whe know physics doesn't always fallow our rules, why should physics be bound by mortal understanding?

For instance just look at the experiment where electrons were fired at a "comb" and the resulting patterning was varried, reliably, on weither the action was being observed or not.

    Dark matter!

The simple action of LOOKING at something changes it!

    (The double slit experiment!)

Speaking of that experiment, did you see the video questioning if we were just inside a simulation of some sort? I believe it was a vsauce video, it was talking about the experiment where electrons behave differently while being observed. Personally I don’t really believe we are in a simulation, but I do wonder what could cause something like this? Also could it mean somehow that our observation tools are having some kind of effect on the electrons making it respond differently?

I have seen computer sim theories, but don't subscribe to them, though it is interesting to think about.

Again I think dark matter has some sort of effect, it's been proven humans give off radiation, hell even Banana's are fairly radio active, but to the best of my knowledge we can't really measure if we give off dark matter.

What if by observing the experiment we are emitting dark matter waves into the test and this is throwing the results?

Camera's and the like even our own eyes work by reciving photons and deciphering them, but again my our understanding of physics photons are massless and therfore shouldn't be able to move or act on other things, but they do.
