The stock wheels are a hub centric design which fits right against the hub to centre it when mounting. Aftermarket ones are not so they can fit a wide variety of vehicles. The hub on our trucks is a 106, and the hub on the aftermarket rims will be 108 I believe. The ring just goes on the hub to fit with the new rims. I like those rims you got...you getting bigger tires with that? You going to run them in the winter? I was pissed that Kal Tire carries the XD Addict for $199, but if you want it in a -12 offset, it is a special order, and costs $260!?!

I just paid $1035 for a set of 265/70/17 duratrac's at the Fountain tire on moraine road. Little better then the 1300 you were sayin.

Thanks mang...I like em too. Seriously...only $1035! I was at Fountain tire yesterday, and even though I talked another guy into two sets of new silent armours, the salesman said the best he would do for me was $1249 OTD.

Do I need the ring for install? If so I'll have to scramble and try to find in town. I'm planning on 285 70 17 duratrac year round setup. Although I also like chrome wheels, I think the black wheel is best for year round setup with our winters?......$260 per tire is ridiculous! I really liked kal's core racing attack wheel but o/s was +25mm...When are your wheels shipping from kx? I don't think they have all in stock I've been waiting 12 days. You might try Silent Armour's as they come in 275 70 17 fill in more wheel well without going all out to 285...
Have you decided who's doing install?

I want something meaner then the silent armour...they are a great tire, just not aggressive enough for what I want. I'll probably end up with 265/70-17 duratracs, but I'm also wondering if a 285/70-17 REVO would fit under my truck?! I ordered my wheels from KX on Thursday, and was told they were in stock ready to ship out, so... hopefully I'm not waiting 12 days like you, that would suck. I'm not sure I'm going to run mine in the winter as some people have said it is really hard on them. I might just run my TRD Sport rims with my REVO's in the winter, and then the new rims/ tires in the summer. If I were you I'd phone KX up and see if they sent the spacer with your wheels...maybe they did?!
