No I haven't made reservations yet. Kinda waiting on the rest of my party to let me know if we're leaving Friday or Saturday morning.

If Wilderness Trail Off-Road is still open I may potentially go down Thursday morning and stay there one last time before it gets shut down. Their Facebook page said they will be closing soon but they don't know the exact date and to call before coming.

    No swr meter.

I'm going Saturday morning to pick up a new CB and a new antenna. Will be installed b4 the 21st. Also will try to grab an SWR meter. If so, I'll let you know, and it will be in the truck when I get there.

I shouldn't need the SWR but @tacabode says he does. I checked mine at LBL and haven't messed with it other than taking it off the truck. I'll try to put it in the same spot (mag mount) and it should be good.

If the place I'm getting my new CB has 'em, I'm buying one. That's how I roll! Need a tool, BUY a tool. Never need it again!

Every 4 or 5 years, we'll trek up thatta way for the air show!

My "tool box" is a 2 bay garage. It's hard to walk around in it for all the tools piled in there. Sort of OCD with tool buying. And I STILL never have what I need.

If you have one and he needs it, that may be the best route! I want to buy one, but as of yet, do NOT have it in hand. I'll be buying one IF there is one to be had where I'm going after the CB.

There only like 20 bucks at the truck stop, but us being 3 1/2 hrs apart. It's cheaper to buy one

I'm almost done installing a new CB radio. Will be monitoring channel 25 (unless too much line chatter) when we get near the camp ground. Second option is 33.
