Indeed..... I'll take that. Too old to care. No worries about jobs, bosses, businesses, girls, debt, approval from peers, everyday belongs to me. Everyday is Saturday.... and I have not joined AARP yet. I would not go back to being 20 in this day and age and start over for anything.... It was far more fun in the 60's and 70's. More opportunities and choices....and faaaaaar better and more diverse music.

I'll have to admit that I always thought my parents grew up in the best decades (60's and 70's). I had fun growing up in the 80's and 90's though. And yes, today's music is crap!

I have black, love it BUT... If I had seen a silver one with the black fender flares... I might have held out a little longer before buying one.

haha ok so i dont think that helped me at all, but i might go with black, just cause i dont really care if it looks dirty, as long as it cleans up good when i do clean it, so the tacoma i will be getting is a 2011 tacoma double cab 4x4 v6. i really wish i could find a trd offroad 4x4 but from what the guys a two different dealerships are that they are impossible to find in our area, so the regular 4x4 will just have to do, but itll be ok. so maybe black, maybe silver. ha dunno, i only got to reserve one so who knows the silver may not be there, well find out tmrw afternoon

i think the black looks way cleaner when done right. more maintenance but if ur into keeping up on ur truck ull get more praise on it. plus silver is everywhere and hey if u cant decide between the two, go between the two, magnetic gray metallic!

I haven't a clue. I did not even know what it was when I bought it. I liked the color combo. The sales guy tried to explain what the previous owner did becasue he thought I would not like the Tupperware flares and mentioned "TRD OR" but I really was just looking for a used truck. I did not have a specific package in mind nor was I aware of the packages. I wanted a PreRunner DC without 4WD, Auto 4 Cyl if possible, That was about it. I saw the truck and it reminded me of the 4WD I had in the 90's and chose it over two others. He explained to me the previous owner bought it there and wanted the wheels replaced, hence no TRD black wheels.

Basically the RT was a PreRunner OR TRD with UNpainted fender flares with black RIMs. Apparently not popular as they only made it for one year.

It wasn't until I started perusing the forums that I found out it was a Special Edition in 08 Here is a RT stock with the proper wheels...

Yeah I would have liked those wheels for sure.....Just painted steel wheels would have been nicer looking than the alloys I have now. meh not worth "fixin" Its fine like it is.

i think everyone should own one black vehicle in their life, so they can figure out how amazing they look clean, and how shitty they look about 30 minutes later, lol
