Black out tail lights

What method was used to tint your tails? Was it that spray in a can or a paint clear coat mix? Also, what about the prep?

 

I wet sanded then first then painted them with VHT night shades like two or the light coats them wet sanded them with 1500 then polished them with meguiars mirror glaze

 

Oh and during the prep after first wet sanding with1000 I wiped the lights done witha tack cloth

Really what pricks cars that come stock from the factory come with tinted tail lights

 

Hand held meter. brake light is too dark ,fix it or $$$
