Black Powder Coated Aftermarket Tacoma Grille Inserts (Fits All 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 Models)

I recently designed and fabricated this grille and got a ton of interest on Facebook, Instagram and Reddit on making them available to the general public. I don’t really have any interest in carrying an inventory, so I thought a group buy might be the best way to fund an order and get them out to people wanting one.

Here are the details:

This is a full grille insert that replaces both the stock grille and outer bezel. The grilles are made out of 18 gauge rust free stainless steel will be powder coated crinkle black (mine in the picture is smooth black) and the toyota logo has a brushed stainless steel plate behind it bolted on by four M6 studs. The plate is fully removable if you want to paint it, or even mount some kind of a light bar instead. The grille is held on by ten, 1 in. long, 1/4 in. bolts. The holes to mount the grille are already built into the truck, so it’s ready to pop in once you receive it.

50 - $175

Price shown above is all in and includes shipping costs.

I'll close off this round of orders Friday, June 2nd at midnight. They should take about 8 business days to produce and be ready to ship out.

Interested. Can you post pictures of the grill off the truck. Side and rear angles would be appreciated. Looks good man.

 

Props for reasonable pricing on this. I love my SRGrill, but sure you will find some interested parties.

 

well shit! i'm going to have to go take it off and scrape off the bugs give me a bit

 

I don't think these are any better. super overcast here and don't have enough time this even to pull it off and put it back on. you'll notice the top of the studs holding the stainless steel plate. we're doing crinkle black so it will cover them better.

honestly, price was the first factor that drove me to do my own. i felt like all other options were way overpriced and after i did my own, it confirmed to me that was the case. not sure if i want to turn it into a biz or not. i'm really freaking busy building my marketing agency, but some peeps wanted them and want to do them a solid!

You might get more interest if you market this better. Maybe put a post in the 3rd gen forum and put a lot more pictures up. I'm on the fence because I can't really visualize this on my truck with what you have show me yet.

 

I'm definitely interested in one, just wasn't sure if I was going to be able to jump in on the relatively narrow buy window.

 

i know. that's the number #1 problem. didn't think i was ever going to sell these, so i didn't get good pictures. i think i'm going to do the order with 2-3 people and have a professional photographer take some good pics from all the different angles and try to post it again.

How does install work? And hows it doing on the plastic with cracking and flexing? I saw something about some these style causimg wear.
