With guidance from my son we got this put on today. Was very happy with the results. A little rough as noted on several of the posts listed above but it looks good. I have a guy on the local Toyota Tacoma page that would like to talk to you about buying one. How can I put him in touch with you?

Is it a flat rate shipping? Where are you located? (Sorry if you already previously stated TLDR) if not how much to ship to 59601?

A recommendation on the bolts: Have you considered using something like this: https://www.fastenal.com/products/details/1124049?r=~|categoryl1:"600000 Fasteners"|~ ~|categoryl2:"600039 Sockets"|~ ~|categoryl3:"600043 Button Socket Cap Screws"|~ (yes long link is long) for your fastener? The Black Oxide coating doesn't rust and the hex head could be a much cleaner/flush look from the outside of the truck.

Edit: Had been waiting for pictures.. can't do it right now but I'd love to get in on one in the future if you have another production run!

you know, i did look at those. i wasn't sure how they would look up against the powdercoat, so i opted to go with the bigger bolts so we could powder coat them the same color and texture.

i think the bolts we use now look meaner and tougher, but definitely like the look of these smaller ones as well.

    anyone else have an opinion?

Ironically, I'd probably end up going stainless against the black powdercoat just for the contrast. But that's a personal thing. I almost feel like another type of fastener might be less likely to be messed with/stolen than the hex heads. I DO like the fact you chose to powder the heads to have them match though, I don't think I would have even thought about doing that in this situation. Either way, great job! Sweet looking grille!

I like the powdered hex, and the fact that they are stainless. Just don't like the writing, but that's a pretty small thing since it's only visible up close. I prefer it to black oxide.

As for grille being stolen, if someone wants it, they will take it regardless of fastener type.

I prefer rough. Rough should hide small chips and paint repairs better, I think.

Edit: I am not a prospective customer though, because I already purchased from the first batch.

Looks good! I may color match mine to the same silver as the truck. Won't make much of a difference but I might try it...
