Black-Rac Gun Mount

Hey Guys,

I am trying to figure out how to mount the blac rac gun mount system in my 18 Taco, I haven't come across anyone who has yet... I recently purchased the 10'' t-channel mount for it and I thought it would fit, however it does not. Its too big. I'm thinking about making my own form of bracket to mount it onto to make it fit and go from there. Here are some pics to help give an idea of what I am looking at...

 

MESO customs makes a molle rac that goes on the ceiling between the rear grab handles. It’ll probably mount to that pretty easily and they are strong enough to do the job and then some

Where are you trying to mount it? On the floor???

Yes, I was going to mount on the trans hump, however the bolt holes are too far apart for this. I was thinking about making my bracket to mount the t-channel to, but I'm not sure yet

 

I do like the roof Molle panel mount, might have to get it... idk about mounting to gun mount to it though

Little less accessible, but also a little more discrete. Looks like you could also bolt from the tube mount flange through the floor to a custom backing plate instead of the T-nuts

 

You can still have a gun rack, just wouldn’t put a gun in it.

 

I have though about that cutting in half, just have to look into a little more and see if its a possible solution. Haven't had much of a chance to dig into it more here lately, busy busy...
