My alloy rims ( i think they are alloy, they are stock, but not steel)...are starting it blister in places.
I would love to have black rims.
My options would be to shell out cash for new rims,
    or
    Do the plasti dip thing.
does plasti-dip change the wheel balance at all, since it is thick and my wheels aren't steel, so any slight weight distrubution will effect balance???

Also, what happens when you have new tires put on????..Will the tire machine take off the plasti - dip???
Also, with the stock rims blistering, do I have to sand them down??

    Any suggestions
    Thanks
    Barry

No balance issues, yes, changing tires will probably mar up the edges of the plasti-dip if you go that route, but you can just touch it up again.

For the best looking results, if you have raised blisters, it would be best to get them smooth before the plasti-dip.
