Black River

Guys/Gals,

Looking for any info on the upper part of the Black River for trout. Not necessarily any info on where to go but info on how the river has recovered for trout.

I have fished the lower part (South of Elwood Tank) for small mouth but never been up river.

Last I had heard the fishing above Pump Station wasn't very good. I am looking to go in on the north side of the river

Last time i was up there, about 2 years ago, it still sucked.. However buddy of mine was up there last year and did ok. Nothing of size to write home about. I've always just fished the little co just off of southfork.
