Hey guys, I just got a Grillcraft which will stay black but I'm not sure I want the grill to be black as well. Too much black for me. I've read all the threads here on grilles and I thank you for that. I haven't seen anything yet except black grilles on black trucks. I know I don't want chrome so I was thinking what color grill would look cool on my black sand pearl Taco. Orange? Just in time for Halloween! ;) How about dark grey? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Seriously, I think that black would look the best. Chrome would be next. I don't think I would mix colors.

Are there any sort of theme to your truck...for example what color are your rims....I personally wouldnt put a random color on the grille unless its used somewhere else on the truck but thats just me.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. My rims are black and brushed aluminum. Cant think of anywhere else on the truck to paint for a theme. Rear view mirrors, fenders, back bumper.....I may be insane but I'm not crazy!

I think matte black or gunmetal-ish colors look good on black.

I know you want to keep your grill craft black, but this is what I did with mine. Color matched the outer part and painted the inner part with a texured grey.

I think a metallic green. Not neon green a nice deep metallic would look good against the black but I would then suggest adding another accent, or 2, to tie it in like doing your badges or something.
