Did you have to peel off the logo originals from the centercap?

 

Those center caps look great! I ordered those as well a few weeks ago, still waiting for them to arrive. Really like the combo of the blacked out wheel and the red TRD emblem. Looking forward to achieving that look on my Sport wheels in the next month or so.

 

No peeling. The Toyota logo is a plastic emblem. Its held in place by 2 tabs. I used the butt end of a screw driver to tap the tabs through from the backside of the center cap. Then just pulled the emblem off. I then cleaned the surface of the center cap with alcohol and stuck the TRD emblem on.

 

Well, now I'm going to have to do the wheel vinyl when it warms up a little here. Looks awesome!

 

The crappy part is that if the center caps didn't have the tabs slots for the badge, they would look great just with the badge gone. The embossed Toyo logo in the cap was actually not bad.

 

Hey all. Here are some pics of the OEM emblem on the center cap so you can see how it's attached.
You can see the two prongs in this shot.


This shot shows the back of the center cap. The two prongs go inside the two slots. Just tap them through and then pop the emblem off the other side.

 

The main center cap just pops out?

 

That's interesting. The OR caps look the same as my Sports, but the badge had three smaller tabs.

A 60mm sticker was a perfect fit also.

They are obviously somewhat different though.

 

Yup. I was able to pop them right off with one hand.

She mailed me the new one yesterday. Waiting to get it and make sure it’s a fit. Should have it this week sometime.

 

Are these Tacoma words aftermarket black or grey?

Any update on the limited version? just got a 2018 and would love to try this.

 

We only have the design for the TRD OR and sports.

 

I saw a couple of other requests from limited owners, just didn’t know if you were still going to try and make them or not. Thank you.

 

Anyone in Boise Idaho have a 3rd Gen sport that would like to help me with the sport Vinyl? @Pikestaco just measured and there is just one small thing I need to fine tune. It would be faster than sending it to Cali!! If so please Message me and we can work out the details!!! I appreciate everyone’s patience. I want to make sure the are perfect for you guys!! Just a bit longer and we should have it all dialed in!! Or does anyone in here know if there is Boise or SW Idaho forum? I've seen some for other cities and states??
