Handles were really easy. The chrome ones are just held in with two tabs. I ordered two at a time. I wasn’t sure if they’d work because they were coming from Thailand and 1/3 the dealer price haha. I wished I had ordered all 4 at once though. And yes... I’m SO close to being chrome free!

Ordered these almost 3 weeks ago, installed them a week after, took pictures with them, sent them to my girlfriend asking how they looked, and she said it looked great, like they weren't even vinyls..

Every picture in this thread make it look better than it really is. They do look good if you're looking for a quick cheap "mod" on a random day.. but it's still the extra $$ in your pocket if you don't spend it. Now that I readjusted my mindset on these vinyls, i don't really care that they're peeling or even torn off on some places.. they look good from far away for the money i spent.

If I can go back in time with the knowledge i know now about these vinyls, would i order them again? probably not, but am I content with them now? at the bare minimum? probably yeah.. thats if I ignore my tires at close range and look at them from far away.

I think I was just bored and got excited with them. I'd probably rip them off after my next car wash.

need to learn more about this stuff

Sorry you had just an ok experience. They definitely aren’t an expensive mod in comparison to a lot of things you can do to these trucks but we have found that those who really take their time with the install and clean the wheels really good, take their time applying each vinyl and hit them with a bit of heat, that they have a great outcome and it doesn’t look or feel cheap. It isn’t something they have to just be ok with but something they’ve been excited about.

And there have been some that have had zero issues with peeling even after months of them being applied and pressure washing their wheels and even changing out tires.

Paste quote from a guy who ya had them on for 8 months:
“Still excellent so far no issues no peeling pressure wash my truck once a week and it goes straight to the mudhole almost every time!”

But thank you for your feedback.

This what this guy suggests to clean. I am not sure what everyone else use.
@DrSouthpaw @Snakedoctor what do you suggest?

Nice. If someone is expecting 4 years on these and the look of $600 worth of wheels I have no idea why they’d expect that for $40. I think it’s a great product and great price. Take care of it and be patient applying and if it lasts a couple hot/cold seasons it’s a steal! My wife (like most) isn’t gonna like me shelling out a grand for new shoes until I actually need them at 80k miles or whatever. A few years for most people. If these get me there it’s well worth the price

I received mine today! Although I’m a little disappointed I didn’t get a thank you card with a smiley face.

Once I get them on my black OR I will post pictures.

I am also working on fixing the wings so you don’t have to stretch them for future purchases. Everything else was spot on!! Thanks you @DrSouthpaw

At about 2:24, there's a bubble on the left... Is that about the size you can leave and it'll work itself out?

Also, when applying the first decal, did you bother stretching the wings? Or only stretch the ones after the first??

And thanks so much for that video. I have been staring at the thermometer for a month or so after getting mine and am getting antsy to put them on.

Yes, that's probably the max size though. I created the video yesterday and the bubble is already gone. I do live in AZ though.

I stretched every section to cross half way. You can use a credit card (I used a vinyl squeegee) aligned with the edge and use it to quickly reference if you've gone far enough.

*Note for those who haven't purchased yet: @PikestacoSister has been working on extending the wings and I sent her some additional measurements so future pieces shouldn't need to be stretched.*
