    ABOUT
The product is Premium outdoor vinyl "stickers" (Brand is ORACAL 651 MATTE Permanent Vinyl) that you will apply to the chrome area of your TRD OR wheel so that it blacks in out. A TW member is the originator of the product, but made it for himself and had no interest in selling it. My sister @PikestacoSister is a single mom with a full time job, but has a vinyl lettering "company" where she makes signs and random things for side money after her daughter is asleep. I asked the TW member if I could give my sister his files and he was all for it. This isn't her plan to retire or quit her day job, but to make some extra cash to help her out. So please tag or post link for other guys you know that might be interested or other threads where people might have interest!!
So after she cut her first set with his files, we sent them to @Shellshock and they look great on his truck. He will be doing a write up and step by step that I will post here. He had some great feedback and we like his suggestion to send 25 "stickers" so you have 1 extra in case you mess some up when applying.

    PRICING
"I'm ready to Vinyl" (full set of 25 "stickers") = $35 shipped anywhere in the USA.
If you are out of the USA, PM me and we'll figure something out.

"I messed up pack" (if you need a sheet of 6 more) = $10 shipped in the USA.

    HOW TO ORDER
    Pay via Paypal or Venmo
paypal: paypal.me/TacomaTRDVinyl (copy and paste this into the browser) or you can use the email to find within paypal. pthreeboutique@gmail.com
    venmo: @stephanie-pike
Make sure to put your TW Username in the comments and what you are buying.
    TRDOR im ready to vinyl
    TRDOR i messed up pack

see link below for TRD Sport
TRD SPORT im ready to vinyl
TRD SPORT i messed up pack

Expect delivery within 2 weeks MAX.

Also please choose peer to peer so Paypal doesn't take a chunk.
Then PM @PikestacoSister with your Paypal or Venmo username and address and let me know you bought a set. We will match up payment with PM info and I will keep a running of who is buying on one of the reserved spots below

    WRITE UP
See comment #3. Great write up.

    PICS
I'll add pics here as more of you get them and post them!

    FAQ
As there are questions, i'll try and list them here with answers

Lastly, this is our first time doing something like this on TW so be patient. I know TW members can get anxious. I have a full time job and 4 daughters and am not taking any of the profits from this. Just trying to help my sister out since I have a Tacoma and have been on TW for a little less than a year now, thought it would be something great for her.

I just want to thank @anonymouscuban for a great write up and he did an INSANE job on his application. If you take tour time and use a heat gun the results are GREAT!!

I ordered the vinyl last week and it arrived yesterday. After detailing my truck today, I set out to wrapping them with the vinyl pieces I got from @Pikestaco. Each wheel took me roughly 30 minutes to wrap. This is how it turned out.

Here is one set of the vinyl cut outs. An extra one was included in case I screwed up.

Here is the wheel close up after placing the vinyl. I actually like the two tone of the black vinyl against the gunmetal. The difference is very subtle and almost looks more like shadows and highlights. Kind of cool.

Here are the steps I used to apply the vinyl in case anyone is interested.
    1. Clean the wheels really well. Key is to get all grease and oil off them. I cleaned them during the detail and then gave them another rub down with isopropyl alcohol.
    2. Next, peel the back from the vinyl and line up the two inside top corners of the V-shape on the wheel. Lightly stick each of the corners.
    3. Allow the vinyl to lay itself onto the wheel. Then take the side of your finger and work it from top to bottom. If you get any bubbles, just pull it up and lay it down.
    4. Once it's bubble free, use your finger to stick it down but leave the edges where it overlaps the curves in the wheel.
    5. Now take a heat gun on low and apply heat across the vinyl. The vinyl will "shrink" over the edges. Now use a finger to stick it down, working from the inside out.
    6. You will have to stretch the vinyl a bit to make sure it overlaps the next one. Again, heating the vinyl will allow it to stretch. Just don't overdo it.
Again, it took my about 30 minutes for each wheel which includes cleaning. Pretty simple just gotta take your time. It looks pretty damn good and the vinyl should hold up pretty well. Makes the stock wheels look a bit more aggressive. And it will pacify me for a few months until I get my new wheels.

    Awesome. Sport here.

No rush. I might wait for warmer weather to do this anyway.

    Thanks!

Thought it was a great idea when I saw it in the other thread. Will be looking for your pics when you photoshop some other colors as well as the Sport 17" wheels. Good luck with this.

If someone out there is playing with Photoshop, can you do a red one? I'm going for a black and red theme on my truck and would be greatly appreciated.

A direct match to the gunmetal color of the rest of the wheel would be my preference and I'd be in. So far they look like cheap stickers on the pics - I'm sure they are better than that and I like the idea overall so hopefully can be refined to look like an extension of the factory paint on those wheels as this matures :)

I agree. To each their own and all that, but my worthless opinion would be to leave it shiny, sticker them to match, or go black. There is plenty of body color on both the OR and Sports. ;)
