But I wanna try 'em anyway, haha. Can someone with photoshop skills black 'em out for me. I tried asking this in the photography forum with no replies. Also comments welcomed on rim color choice too. And I'm thinking of blacking out the chin bar under the grill, of whatever you call that peice of bodywork. Thanks everyone.

Get a can of black plastidip and go to town. If you don't like it. Peel it off.

Plastic dip is a great option and you can change it.

Plastsderp is only a good option if you peel it off right away and don't wheel.

I've plasti-dipped my wheels and gone wheeling in em, and they wash clean and look just like they did right after I sprayed em. Also, removing it is unbelievably easy if you just spray it down with WD-40 and wait 5-10 minutes... Wipes right off

 I have hit rock after rock with mine when it starts coming off I cut the blimished area off with a razor blade and re spray with index cards takes less then 30 mins and looks just fine after... I powder coated them the first time looked like shit after a month and I had no way to repair it myself.. Don't know if the "forest" is different but I don't see it being worse then rocks

You get the brush doing a mess of small tears and you end up peeling off 100 pieces

I actually took OEM wheels and had them powder coated anthracite color, added TRD centercaps.

When I painted my stock rusty wheels I didn't use plastidip or powder coat (too expensive for me). I used elbow grease and high temp grill paint! First, steel wool all the shiny spots and all the rust spots off. Then use scotch brite to remove any dust and leftover shiny spots. Next tape off the sidewalls. In my case, I used leftover tire labels because they stick amazingly well to dirty tires :). After that, lightly dust over the wheel with high temp grill paint, I used flat black. After the first coat dries, go over the whole wheel with paint. Let dry and use as many layers as you like. I used like 7 or 8 coats which was over kill and my fingertips were sore from pressing the paint can. Apparently there's a tool you can stick on the top of the paint can that turns it into a trigger lol! Too late for me though so I had to go with hurting fingers. I also put a couple coats over the rear axle so the wheels would be uniform and not have a center chunk of rusty axle showing lol! Let dry and reinstall wheels.
