Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It's $100. If you don't like it put it on your 13 and be happy. It sounds great on a 4L

Oh I thought it was more, I might then. And that 13 is long gone :( how I miss that power. But I had a magnaflow bullet I think it's called, and I'd like something not as loud as that. I guess I'm getting older and liking quieter things haha
Which is the quietest of the black widows?

I had a Flowmaster 40 it wasn't that crazy. My Roadster Race on my Miata sets off car alarms. The 1GR-FE is pretty tame when dumped under the vehicle.

Dual outs won't make it any louder. Even if it's true dual. That's an interesting misconception. That is also to say: louder in terms of DECIBEL level. Perceived volume may change due to better distribution of sound waves.
I keep going back and forth on pulling off the cats... :(

Currnetly debating Race Venom vs 250. Only thing I'm worried about is the Race Venom possibly being too loud... Any thoughts?

I've got the race venoms on my Hellcat, yes it's loud, but it also knocks out the harshness compared to the straight pipes I tried first

I think I'm gonna say screw it and just go for it. If I feel like a douche for having an unnecessarily loud V6 I'll swap for a 250 and sell the Race Venom

Did you end up staying with the race venom or swapping it for a 250? I want to run my new exhaust with a black widow muffler and have been going between the 250 and race. What are your feelings on yours?

When I boufht my truck it already had a flowmaster super 50 1 in-2 out muffler with two pipes coming out of the back of the truck . I really enjoyed the sound but it was always missing something. Well that system rusted and now I've got my opportunity to change things up. So I've been looking at black widows alot lately. I love that they are made out of stainless steel and I will be using stainless steel for the piping.

    TIA

I had a Venom 250 on my taco for about 4 months.
Ended up taking it off and putting the stock exhaust back on because anything past 3000rpm sounded ricey as hell and I didn't like it

Concencus on the race venom seems good though. That's probably the best way to go for the 4L

Did you guys just cut out the factory Muffler and weld in the Black Widow or did you have the shop bend pipe and build a system? The previous owner for my truck had from the muffler back made out of aluminized steel and it rusted. So I am going to be redoing this system in stainless steel.
My truck has 90k miles on it. Should I just have the exhaust shop build the system from the exhaust gasket back (cat back) or should I leave the factory midpipe (area between gasket and muffler) and go from the muffler back with the new stainless?

    Thanks again.

Even with the center/offset muffler they had to move some pipe around for it to fit perfectly. I didn't chop my exhaust though after the muffler so they had to worry about it fitting both ways. If you're worried about rust, are getting the stainless steel muffler, and don't care about the extra money then I would if it will give you piece of mind.

I mean at the end of the day they are V6's and it's gonna be really hard to not sound a little ricey at 4-5k no matter what you do with just a muffler swap
