Not sure who might be looking for one of these, or perhaps wanting to get a really good look at it for figuring out how yours comes out... Passenger-side Trim Panel.

Blacked out the shift knob ring today. Thank you Rich for sending in separately.

Had a about and inch of vinyl left over and didn’t feel like throwing it away. Cut the piece in three thin strips and gave the mirror knob a shot. Actually didn’t turn out half bad.

I've been taking my truck apart for soundproofing (I'll create a thread eventually). I've done all the doors and I wondered about all window auto up/down. The front window motor/controllers have two (or three?) extra wires as compared to the back doors. So, TLDR:

You would have to replace the rear window motors/controllers, all the switches, and run extra wires from the driver door to the rear doors.

Can't speak for him; but, I have recently had all the doors apart multiple times and they look the same to me.

(I'm going off my recent memory.)

How hard are the handles to remove and install? Just curious.

It's not hard, just awkward. You do have to remove the whole door panel. ********* has a youtube video, I think.

My advice: snap the handle into the door trim THEN reconnect the cables. Make sure the lock and the handle works before you close the door again! Apparently, some people fail to confirm this important function.

I bought them and they are a perfect fit. The factory handles have a little bit of grease in them and these don't. The next time I have the panels apart I think I might lube the springs up. @Tharris242 is correct about everything he said.

Thanks! Just watched the video... Doesn't look to bad just time consuming if you factor all 4 doors. Might still do it later in the year when i get more free time.

Should be ordering the vinyls soon! How does the cup holder vinyl hold up to a yeti cup coming in and out quite often?

@rrentrop I've had your black out kit installed for about a month now & it’s awesome. All glares have been eliminated except for 1. Do you think that a matte clear piece over the top of the shifter selector position would still be readable & stop glares? I’m getting blinded off this even worse now that I’ve toned everything else down with your kit. Check attached photo of the area I’m talking about:

I’d just get a cheap matte tablet screen protector and cut to fit. Done.
Pretty simple to edge with a razor.

EDIT: I have bought iPad and iPad Mini protectors for $1 at Dollar Tree. They can be cut down for other devices and screens as well (the reason I know).

Yes! I have a clear vinyl that can be applied to this. It it gloss vinyl but it may cut down the reflection slightly. Or....
I can cut the the vinyl in the attached photo in matte black.

They aren't! I literally just made them last weekend and haven't had a chance to list them yet. PM me and I'll send you payment instructions. They are $4.99 plus shipping for 2.

Is there a better way to put on the 4WD knob vinyl. My first attempt is garbage. I absolutely hate it, everything else looks amazing.
