Blacked Out Dash Chrome

I'd be interested in either gloss black or cement gray to cover up all the chrome interior parts.

 

I know you won't have colors available initially but I painted all my interior pieces MGM and if you do get into doing it in colors I'd be in for a set.

 

MGM will be the first color that I try (since it matches my Tacoma).

 

I am interested in a set of quicksand or black.

 

I would do red....let me know if/when you are ready to make some.

 

I did get a red one for the steering wheel....doesn’t completely cover though....

 

The complex shape of the logo makes it very difficult to completely cover without wrinkling. The best I could do was make it cover only the flat face of the logo.

 

Whoops! Not complaining, I love this thing! Waaay better than that chrome logo! I have just about every sticker you make, Tacoma emblem wise....great quality, all perfect fits too. Was just mentioning the details. And yeah, no way to make it completely cover since the curves on either side of the emblem.

 

I’m over it. I’m cutting it out.

 

No worries. Just trying to explain to anyone else reading this thread why they don't cover the entire logo.

You didn't miss anything. Rich used my trim piece as a pattern and I just got it back in the mail today.

Just driving around with the shiney bit missing was a huge improvement. But, that part looks absolutely killer now.

I have to do the vent rings. Maybe on Sunday?

Edit: Just an FYI. The MT trim piece is not a rectangle. Once it was out, I found that there was only one 90deg angle on it. You'll see it on the sticker.

Yup... it's all wonky. When I designed the M/T coin holder all the factory dimensions were wack.

 

Engineered in Japan, not Switzerland.

 

I've been wanting to get an angle finder, but I only needed it a time or two.

I didn't know you have an MT version. Dammit!

 

I don't. Had a member send me his console so I can get dimensions off it.
