I know this is a noob question but please bear with me. How are all these people blacking out their emblems? Are they spray painting it themselves or buying black emblems from somewhere? Also how do I take off my emblems without breaking it? Or are they attached with adhesive? Thanks.

I heated mine up with hair dryer and then took fishing line to get the old badges off.

Then, just ruffed up the finish a little with some fine grit sandpaper.

Then, painted with some black rustoleum spray paint from walmart.

They look great, not professional but you can't tell unless you look real close.
