I'm thinking of replacing my grill with the Pro grill but until I get around to doing that I'm wondering if I can just replace the chrome badge on the front of the grill with something black or at least not so .....chrome. The rest of my truck is blacked out. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement emblem. Anyone done this before or know where I can get one?

Good luck, its designed that way for TSS / radar. I'd just deal until you swap out for the Bro Pro grille.

Just asked the other day. Someone make decal for it. others have painted it flat black. Some also used spray tint.

Pretty sure painting it is going to throw off your sensor.

Ya until it rains, snows, etc. I don't know why you would f**k with your collision system for that little bit of chrome, there's more chrome in the headlights for sh*t sake.

How am I the "biggest dumb*ss on here", trigger easily? I quoted you because you posted that guys were having no issues, which I said then until it rains, etc. and the safety risk behind painting it. Calm down Nancy.

Cool! I didn't realize the sensor was the emblem. I see why the OP was asking now, duh. I catch up...eventually sometimes.

All good, its not the acutal sensor, but its designed a certain way for the sensor behind it, if it gets wet, dirty it throws the sensor off, I could only imagine what painting it would do.
