I'm in the process of blacking out all of the chrome on my motorcycle. I've stripped my bike and I'm ready to start painting, but now I can't decide.

Flat black engine with gloss crankshaft covers and top covers,

Or gloss black engine with flat black covers?

I think a flat black engine with gloss accents is best... lets the engine stay subdued while still getting some attention to the power plant (can say that since it's a Honda and not HD).

Also, cleaning gloss parts is going to be easier if they are flat surfaces and not engine nooks, crannies, and fins.
