The standard black you can get from lowes or home depot (by the spray paint cans). They do make a kit to custom color, but Ive only seen that on their website, but you can order it online. That would be awesome to color match it!

you arent removing your emblems so not sure why you would need the emblem tape, watch the video i posted on the first page, no removal of badges needed, why its so awesome in the first place. and you dont sand at all, you could but then if you choose to remove the plastidip then your stuck with sanded chrome emblems. watch the video.

I did plasti dip and yes, it was easy and no it will not stick to your truck or ruin your paint. It does come out great looking and really I can't see any way to mess up your paint.

    does it last, not really.

I did 4 coats, followed directions to the 'T' on the can and it looks perfect. Wanted to get a little bit of the spray off the paint that didn't come off when peeling it off and used some bug/tar remover, didn't hit the emblem at all with the spray but a little bit dripped down and touched the top of it. Wiped it off, and the plasti dip started to peel off fast.

I did all the other ones thinking the bug and tar remover was the issue. I washed my truck and wanted to scrub off some mud that was dried on, the wash sponge was enough to start pulling plasti dip off the Tacoma logo. This is after 2 days of sitting around before I took it out in the mud and washed it.

Really, I got some 10lb fishing line, cut the old ones off with that, sanded painted, and put them back in in about the same amount of time it took to plasti dip them and the paint will not come off.

Looks good with the red, like the headlights too. Just did mine with dip. Did the inside yesterday, Will see how i like it. May end up using spray paint later, more durable.

Think you didnt give it enought time to cure. Ive hand washed mine 3 times and power washed twice and mine is still intact. I waited 2 weeks before I washed it to let the AZ sun kinda set it in.
