I decided to give the BFLM a stab. After a few beers and several passes of the heat gun, scraper, and trying to hee-man them apart, they came loose. I do not have finger prints at all anymore..Like Will Smith, in Men In Black when he has his fingerprints burned off. I had that scene going through my head the whole time as I was trying to get them apart while scalding hot. All in all I rate it a 5/10, just a PITA to pull the lens off.

I still haven't put them back together and re-sealed them. Tomorrow is my day off work so I plan on re-installing them then. I'll post pics of the final product when I get them back on the truck. Thanks! Enjoy.:D

Haven't put them back together, been so busy at work. Beware when doing this mod, do not let the blue painters tape stay adhered for very long, as it will peel the chrome refelective backing. I had a small piece come off, and I am lucky they both are okay. That no big piece were peeled away and I didn't ruin the Foglights. I used a heatgun and worked my way around the light with a small paint scrapper. But I murdered the lip of the light a tiny bit, I used the heat gun to form them back to normal so its all good.

Am I missing something here or are those lights not going to work now because there is no reflector?

there is a reflector although its minor, i would assume the light out put would be not that great after doing this mod, they just look more recessed then anything. but to each their own :)

It keeps the entire reflector in tact. Just like in the picture wolfpack posted.
