    Looks like it would block the radar sensor. Probably would involve a relocation.

    I had a work truck with a grill guard. One of my coworkers hit something at low speed. It would have damaged the bumper, necessitating replacement. But instead because of the grill guard, it not only damaged the bumper, but broke the radiator, dented the hood and bent the frame (very slightly). That energy still has to go somewhere. It can get dissapted in the purpose built device for it every car comes with, a bumper, or you can spare the bumper and sacrifice something more dear. We no longer equip vehicles with these.

    That was not any of these grill guards, but rather a different model. It also was not a Tacoma.
