Trade for a non scooped hood. Not like the scoop does anything.

It happens to me a lot. It sucks. The people that don't have this problem must only drive at night

Seriously though, this past summer I was driving due west for a couple hours directly into the late afternoon/evening sun. I had glare from above and also from the scoop. Believe it or not, I actually got a mild sunburn on my face from this.

<----My face is still on fire. LOL

Instead of coating the scoop, I've thought about placing some sort of "visor" on the dash where I have a view of the hood and the scoop. It won't affect my ability to see the road because all I can normally see in that area of the windshield is the hood. There are visors at the top of the windshield so why not at the bottom too?

    <---These also help.

Tinting a windshield sounds like a great idea...

I was thinking the same, could always peel it off if it doesn't turn out. Any pics would be appreciated.

A CHIP told me: A note from a doctor is all you need to put tint on your windshield legally. I kept mine almost clear, but it does have UV protection.

I learned years ago to wear good sun glasses. I recently started using a driving lens. Really like it.

But yes, the angle of the dangle is just right for some glare.

Maybe if it's flat or matte black. My black taco scoop is shiny as fuck and the glare bounces off of the gloss
