    Just started the process of blacking out my OR. To avoid any marital disharmony after just buying my new toy I'm trying to do this economically.

    Started with the vinyl stickers on the wheels.

    I ordered the bumpershellz last week and they haven't shipped yet. Grrr. Also, ordered vinyl to go over the "Tacoma" and tailgate letters.

    I havnt done my wheels on my sr5 but i used plastidip on the emblems and it was so easy you can use a toothpick to remove the black from inside the letters with ease.

    How does the vinyl look up close on the wheels? The pics look good does the black finish match the painted finish on the wheels?

    i'd like to paint my "Tacoma" emblems but i don't want to use plasti-dip, i used it on my Turndra and found the stuff started to come off in the car wash and slowly turned into a shit mess.

    Up close they don't look great but you'd have to be looking at them to notice that something is ....different. I'll try to get a close up picture later.

    The finish doesn't match perfectly but it looks fine from a few feet away. The wheels are sort of a glossy gray and the decals are a matte black. Despite that they don't look bad at all. I'm very happy with them right now. We'll see how they hold up.
