Blacking Out A Black TRD Off Road

That is gorgeous! I wondered what matte black decals on the back fenders would look like. You see raptors come stock like that and they look good.

 

To Plasti-Dip the rear chrome bumper, is there a specific that works best? I'm thinking Matte to match the plastic on top and around the licence plate, or is that dumb? I'm just afraid that the gloss won't match the truck and will look dumb.

 

What headlights are you running ? And whats up the TRD sticker?

 

Depot TRD pro style tails & headlights. Matte black “TRD 4X4” stickers with a FSU spear underneath. Go Noles.

did you plasti dip the bumber? if you did/didnt what did you use?

 

Yes I did. I removed the chrome parts & cleaned them really well. Then rubbed with alcohol to remove any finger prints/grease & dipped them. They’ve held up for almost 2 years now.

 

I will probably get these bumper caps after the dip gets shitty

I plasti dipped my door badges, then decided I just wanted them off. Then I felt like the door looked like it was missing something with no badge. So I put these on. Here's a link. I like the subtle look of the matte black.
Just another option instead of plasti dipping the door badges...
